The wedding will take place in Vevey, a small Swiss town by Lac Léman located approximately 60km from Geneva. Access to the venue is easy - find details below.
How to get to Vevey
Direct trains run frequently from Genève to Vevey and back (duration: approx. 1 hour plus). You can book your tickets at the Cornavin train station in Geneva or on the cff/sbb website (select your time of arrival using the "arr." button). We recommend accounting for unlikely but possible train delays. For the best view, take a seat on the right-hand side.
Roundtrip tickets are valid for the full day until 05.00 the next day (Sunday). The last direct train to Geneva is currently scheduled for departure on Sunday at 03:33am, with earlier options also available. If you intend to return to Geneva on Sunday afternoon, we recommend booking separate one-way tickets.
How to get to Château de l'Aile
Château de l'Aile (Grande Place 1, 1800 Vevey) is a 5-minute walk away from the Vevey train station. If your phone has run out of battery, simply walk towards the lake (place du Marché) from the station.

Historic lakeside 5-star hotel (with spa), 10-minute walk from Château de l'Aile. "Trois Couronnes" section with lake view may be fully booked, but rooms in the "Lifestyle" section with partial view remain available:

Luxurious 5-star hotel, 13-minute walk from Château de l'Aile. Most expensive hotel listed. For 1-2 guests with breakfast included:

Casual lakeside 3-star hotel, 25-minute walk from Château de l'Aile (otherwise accessible by bus). Farthest hotel from the venue. Rooms with lake view and breakfast included remain available:

Astra Hotel Vevey 4* (Montreux Riviera Lavaux)
Central station-side upscale 4-star hotel, 5-minute walk from Château de l'Aile. We haven't visited it, but it appears to offer solid balance between accessibility and comfort. Per booking.com:
